Now-defunct punk band appearing in William Gibson's 2003 sci-fi thriller Pattern Recognition. The lead singer, the silver-haired Billy Prion (get it?), had the left side of his mouth intentionally paralyzed with Botox for their early shows.

BSE is an acronym for Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, or Mad Cow Disease.
