Disk jockey who is the focus of Stonewall Jackson's 1963 teenage tragedy tune "B.J. the D.J." The song, which was written by Hugh X. Lewis, tells the story of B.J., a country music station DJ who "had a lot of nerve but he completely missed the curve/And he signed off down near the Georgia Line."
