Former Velvet Underground member Lou Reed (!?) played this ultra reclusive rock star who hasn't left his house in years, in the 1983 comedy film Get Crazy. He finally leaves to play the big new year's eve concert but arrives too late. Once there, he sings anyway ("Little Sister").
